Plain White Tee

I was perusing some of my favorite blogs the other day as is my habit and came across a classic white t-shirt styling by Stephanie Liu of honey & silk. Seeing an outfit built around a plain white tee inspired me to do my own styling of my favorite white v-neck.

 I opted for a pair of houndstooth high waisted shorts, my favorite white tee with a cinched v-neck, a black cardigan, black open-toed kitten heels, a few choice gold jewelry pieces, and a classic black eyeliner/black mascara eye combo along with a nude-pink lipstick.

Summer appropriate & casual Friday appropriate for me :]

Nail Polish: Zoya in Jem and Austine [see here – one of my new favorite nail polish brands. W&W is still my fave, but Zoya is a close second. The color selection is great and I love that the polish is free of a lot of the icky things that are normally in nail polish]

Kitten Heels – Current Shoe Obsession

Aside from my favorite white button down, Kitten Heels are my new favorite clothing/shoe obsession.

I don’t work a standard office job where I have to dress in pant suits, etc…but I do still have to dress professional but in a casual sense. (Dressy-casual if you will.) Kitten heels are my new favorite way to do this. Pair a cute pair of kitten heels with anything from casual rolled up jeans, a pencil skirt, or skinny jeans, and you have a winner.

 All of the kitten heels I currently own are peep toe but I would love to venture out into closed toe kitten heels – the pair from Etsy in the upper right hand corner are gorgeous and will quite possibly be my next purchase. :] Also loving the suede kitten heels from Miu Miu and Jimmy Choo.
